April 28th is bring your kids to work day. I went to work with my mom at the Holocaust Museum. Some things that stuck out to me included:

⌾ The remembrance hall is a hexagon (6 sided shape) to represent the 6 points on the star of David and the 6 million Jews that were killed.

⌾ When the survivor was telling her story she gained her liberation by someone pushing open the gate after the Nazis abandonded them.

⌾ In the remembrance hall the pedestal that the eternal flame is sitting on, it contains dirt from all of the concentration camps.

Overall, I thought it was a very good experience and I encourage you to visit the museum and talk to a survivor because the rate of survivors are decreasing.
