I went trapezing?!

Last weekend I went trapezing at Trapeze School New York in Washington DC. We found out about it through one of my mom's coworkers who has doe it several times before. It started off in ground school where we learned the code words for what to do in the air. I wasn't the only first-timer, so that was lucky. Then it was my turn to go on the trapeze. I had to climb a 30 foot later (with was not fun). But thank fully I was harnessed in. Then when you get to the platform, they unclip you and reclip you to different ropes. Then a girl up there holds you up as you lean over the edge to get the bar. After you get the bar you have to jump off the platform.
Once you're in the air you have to listen to what your instructor says to do when. On the first swing you hook your knees, on the second you take your hands off, on the third you buck your hands back and take your feet off, on the fourth you swing your legs back and fourth and do a backflip dismount. With all that being said, it wasn't really that hard.
After you have your first sequence down you get caught by another instructor on a different trapeze. You do the same thing for your first 2 swings but on the third you grab hands with the instructor and let your feet go. That is a lot harder because if your a second off on one of the movements you'll miss his catch and you'll fall in the net.
Over all, it was a lot of fun and I'd probably do it again!
